Open Question: Why Don't they play these types of songs on the radio? (Linkin Park, Disturbed, 30 Seconds to Mars, BFMV)?

I was wandering why don't they play rock, alt, emo, metal, etc... songs on the radio? I've never heard Linkin Park, Disturbed, Bullet For My Valentine, 30 Seconds To Mars or bands like these on the radio. I always hear R&B, and rap and I rarely hear anything else. For example I hear 'I adore The way you lie" and "Dj got us falling in adore again" almost 5 times or so every hour (I'm not saying they are bad songs because I like them too) and i rarely hear something like "Round & Round" and I've never heard a tune like "The catalyst". Please Tell me why?!?! Oh and if they do then tell me the station they play it on. I live in NYC. BTW I Support Linkin Park to the bone and I am a huge Linkin Park fan which is the reason I am asking this question.

Open Question: Need help finding rap song about a grandma dying that I can't find?

Okay, so I've asked this question before... But haven't been successful. And I really like this tune; even though it makes me sob because I miss my grandma when I hear to it. Anyway, I heard it on the radio like a month ago. 94.1 Wild to be exact;; it's in Tampa Florida. Alright, well the lyrics in it are, "relax in peace grandma" lady singing: "how can I make it through?" More lyrics are, "My dad died at the age of 49." and, "Worst thing you ever did to me grandma was tellin' me no." And towards the end of the tune, the guy gets really emotional and basically can't finish the tune. Well, I didn't hear every of it. But he starts crying a little. Also, please do NOT suggest these songs to me, for they are NOT the tune: I Miss You by DMX, Grandma by Mike Jones... Yeah those aren't it. Please please please help me on this. I've done so much research and still came up with nothing. Thank you for your potential help. No... My grandma's been dead since 2006. I just heard the tune; thought it was good although depressing... And now I want to find it.

Open Question: Singer of paper planes cover?

I need to know who sings a cover of mia's paper planes. Instead of using "if you catch me at the border I got visas in my name" the artist raps " I got warrants to my name" during the chorus and there's no female singer or actual gun sound in the tune. Open Question: what makes a christian band?

personally, it bothers me when I look a typical rock band labeled "christian," and their lyrics are just BARELY christian enough to be considered so. it also bothers me when bands produce maybe one or two songs that Could be considered christian. for example, i know WayFM radio(christian station) sponsors every around me by flyleaf, home by daughtry, and some songs from the fray. and i don't understand why people argue the devil wears prada is christian either. what's your opinion on this?

It's a techno / remix type tune I heard on BPM on sirius radio last weekend. The tune has been in my head every week and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Open Question: car overheated and radiator fluid spilled everywhere.. what happened!?

i've had my car for a while now, and it's never had any major mechanical problems. it's a toyota, so there's never really much to worry about. a couple days ago i was driving home from work (about a 15 minute steer, 40mph on average, no highways.. mostly stayed on 2 or 3k rpm), and parked my car in my driveway. i was listening to the radio for a couple minutes or so outside, and then noticed steam coming out of the right side of my hood. i immediately turned my car off, and saw my temperature gauge fly down from the top (i'm not sure if it had reached the red area yet, it happened so quick). after turning off the car, i hear a bubbling noise, as if water was boiling. i popped the hood open, and sure enough, my coolant tank had a boiling liquid inside. i looked down, and there was radiator fluid every over the cement, below my car. i left it for a while to chilly down, went back and saw my coolant tank was completely empty. at first i thought there was a leak/hole, but as i poured more coolant into the tank, there was no liquid coming out from underneath the car. the next day, i drove my car to work as usual. i occasionally looked in my rearview mirror to look if there were any signs of dripping, and there wasn't. i went to work for 8 hours, got out, popped the hood, and saw that my coolant tank was once again, empty. i assumed that the coolant tank just took whatever was in the coolant overflow tank (the one we can easily look) and was still short. i poured water into the actual coolant tank (the one where the cap is connected to the actual hose) until it was full, and more water into the overflow tank to the full line. it's been driving fine since, but then again, i haven't really been eased enough to steer around a lot in my car ever since the night where radiator fluid had just poured from my car. i did check after 20 minutes of driving to look if my cooling fans were working, but saw that only the a/c fan was running. but then again, i hadn't been driving around that much, and it hasn't been that hot outside (maybe 70 degrees). air conditioning runs perfectly, temp gauge doesn't go past halfway, coolant tank is still full, and i don't hear that boiling sound when i turn off my car anymore. anyone know of a way to diagnose this for free, perhaps midas or autozone has a free check or something? if every else fails, i'll have to bring it into a store.. which of course something i really don't want to do, considering they'll more than likely "magically" find other radiator/cooling problems that'll cost me an arm and a leg. i figured maybe the thermostat got stuck closed, and it overheated.. but that doesn't explain why it spilled the coolant every over the ground. either that or the second cooling fan is broken and won't turn on when the car is hot. any other possibilities? thank you guys, when the first answerer said "blown headgasket" my heart stopped for a second. lol but i will try to do a radiator flush and replace the water pump and t-stat.

just came back from Hot Topic to return some shoes... she insisted on coming with me... at the store, there were a couple scenes & emos and Disturbed was playing on the radio! well guess what? on the way home, she told me she thought the scene chick there was going to kill her! To me, I always hear a band and go I adore that band, I don't think of it as it being a job or profession. But lately I have been hearing about a lot of "bands" (one of which I really like and has really good music unlike the ignorant trash on the radio doing something for the money. And sure, if that is your job, you need money, but where should we draw the line between being a band and being a business?

My dad currently has a 1998 Ford van, lifted, 4wd, CB radio. Now, though, he is looking for a change of pace. He is looking for a nice sporty car. Price limit is around $100,000. We're thinking of something like a ferrari 360 or a BMW M3. Obviously i want him to something really chilly. Open Question: What is going on with my WACOM tablets?

Every time I try to use my drawing tablet on my laptop I receive what I assume to be radio interference. The cursor constantly shakes on screen, moving that tablet further away from the computer doesn't really make a difference. Thing is, when I'm sitting with the laptop right next to me still and plug it into my desktop, it functions just fine. Wouldn't interference cause it to behave the same on either computer? If I move the laptop it does the same thing, no matter where I go. Drivers can't be the problem, I've used the original and updated ones. I have the same OS and drivers on both PCs. I've reformatted the laptop. I even bought a new drawing tablet but it does the same thing, just to a lesser extent. I just can't figure out what is causing this, my desktop is really not clip out for graphics work.

Open Question: Car starting troubles?

Okay the other day, my moms car wouldn't start, but we got a new battery and it worked fine, up til tonight. The problem isn't the battery cause she tried tightening the bolts and everything, but every it does is click in the engine, but the radio and lights inside arrive on and everything, but the engine it's self doesn't start. Open Question: GUESS THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Ok, so I'm trying to find the name of this movie I saw on scifi earlier and I only saw one scene of it. So guess. Details: There's a lady on a radio show taking phone call interviews with people regarding some nice of illness/disease/outbreak thing. Most of the people interviewed claimed soldiers were being "unpatriotic" and burning bodies. After a couple interviews, US soldiers break into the radio tower and kill the women when she refuses to close down the broadcast, and refused to give up her freedom of speech. The public listeners were in shock and were wondering if it was a joke as the guns fired over the radio. There was a sick old looking guy sitting in a seat next to the lady who asked if it was a joke. That's every I remember. Please tell me the title of the movie!! @adam LOL o you.

Open Question: how much would it cost to get a cheap sound system installed to a truck?

I have a 96 silverado ext cab and want to put a cheap subwoofer in it, how much would it cost to receive this done or how can i do it myself, any packages with amp+sub and wireing? i would also like to keep the stock radio if possible.
